Help Buzzya

Enter the Username and Password provided by your administrator.

Depending on how your administrator has set up Buzzya you may see the settings Keep Password and Auto Login. If you use Keep Password, you do not need to re-enter your password each time you log on to Buzzya. If you use Auto Login, you automatically log in to Buzzya when you open the Buzzya app.

Auto Login must be enabled for the Buzzya Push Service to work.

Biometric authentication

If you have successfully logged in to Buzzya, your Android phone supports fingerprint authentication, and your administrator provisions the setting, you can use your fingerprint instead of entering your password.

See Biometric authentication.

Wi-Fi and mobile networks

Buzzya works on both Wi-Fi and mobile networks.

You can decide whether or not you want to allow Buzzya to use your mobile data. This is beneficial if you have a limited data plan.

Go to Settings > Preferences, and enable or disable Use When Available and Allow VoIP Calls. Remember, if you disable them, you will only be able to make calls when you are on a Wi-Fi network.

Doze mode – Android 6.0+

Android 6.0+ supports battery optimization (Doze mode). In this mode, Buzzya may not be able to receive calls or messages. Manually whitelist Buzzya so you will receive calls and messages.

Go to Android Settings > Battery.

Tap the More icon and choose Battery Optimization.

Tap on Buzzya

Choose Don’t optimize.

Buzzya is added to the Not Optimized list.

This change prevents the Android OS from suspending Buzzya and ensures that Buzzya remains available for incoming calls and IMs. Traffic to Buzzya is not subject to the rules set by the device’s battery optimization mode.

Handling multiple SIP accounts

When you have multiple SIP accounts, you can set a primary account for outgoing calls.

Outgoing calls use the primary account by default.

Incoming calls arrive using any registered accounts.

To change the primary account permanently:

Go to Settings > Accounts and long press on the account you want to set as primary.

Tap Set as Primary Account.

The green dot on beside the account indicates the primary account.

The primary SIP account has a dot beside it.

To change it for a specific call:

Tap the Phone icon on the top right corner as shown below.

Choose the SIP account you want to use from Select Dial-out Account.

Place your call.

Buzzya makes the call using the selected SIP account.
